Senior Site Specialist - Clinical Research

About the role

ICON is a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation. As a Senior Site Specialist at the ICON Taipei office, you will act as a key operational point of contact for investigator sites, supporting site start-up, maintenance and close-out. The role is hybrid and takes ownership of complex site tasks while helping drive an efficient site experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage advanced site-level activities, including collecting, reviewing and maintaining documents for assigned sites or studies
• Act as primary liaison for site staff on operational questions, documentation requirements and study processes
• Keep site status and information accurate and up to date in clinical trial management systems and trackers
• Support coordination of site visits, meetings and communications with CRAs and project teams
• Identify ways to streamline site workflows and contribute to process improvement
• Mentor junior site support team members on best practices and procedures

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare, business or a related field, or equivalent clinical research experience
• Strong experience in site support, clinical administration or similar roles within a CRO, pharma or healthcare setting
• Good understanding of clinical trial processes, GCP and site documentation requirements
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with experience supporting or mentoring junior colleagues
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
