Senior Clinical Trial Manager

About the role

ICON, a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation, is looking for a Clinical Trial Manager to join its research department in Taiwan. The role oversees the planning, execution and completion of clinical trials while keeping them within timelines, budgets and regulatory guidelines, and involves managing site relationships and giving strategic guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage all aspects of clinical trials, adhering to timelines, budget and quality standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set up and run clinical trial protocols and procedures
• Build and manage relationships with trial investigators and stakeholders
• Ensure trials comply with local, national and international regulations and ethical guidelines
• Solve problems and make key decisions on trial design, vendor selection and risk management

Required profile

• University degree in medicine, science or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated ability to drive the clinical deliverables of a study
• Subject matter expertise in the designated therapeutic area
• Prior monitoring experience preferred
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
