Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join GMI Cloud’s finance team in Taipei. The successful candidate will own daily accounting operations, support month‑end and year‑end closing, and collaborate with our overseas entities as the company scales in the AI cloud infrastructure market.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and review month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing packages, reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Support tax filings and VAT returns and liaise with external accountants and auditors.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams and overseas subsidiaries.
• Support internal control processes and improve accounting workflows.
• Handle ad‑hoc finance and administrative projects as required.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (TWCPA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of Big 4 audit experience plus at least 1 year of commercial accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Comfortable working with overseas teams across time zones.

Required skills

• IFRS accounting standards.
• US GAAP (nice‑to‑have).
