Accounting Specialist

About the role

This position is ideal for someone who wants to deepen their accounting expertise. You will start with core bookkeeping and month‑end close tasks, and as you grow, you’ll take on more advanced financial responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day accounting, including AR/AP entries, invoice issuance, reconciliation, and receipt matching.
• Handle month‑end close independently, producing closing reports and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and file tax filings accurately and on time.
• Investigate anomalies proactively and propose analyses or corrective actions.
• Take on more advanced financial projects as your capabilities develop.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate routine work.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience; audit backgrounds should be ready to transition to day‑to‑day bookkeeping quickly.
• Detail‑oriented, comfortable working with numbers and spotting discrepancies.
• Proactive and curious, eager to explore unfamiliar tasks and improve processes.
• Open to using new tools and methods, including AI‑based solutions.
