About the role

EY is seeking an experienced M&A Advisory Manager to join its strategy and transaction consulting team in Taiwan. The role involves delivering high‑quality advisory services across a range of M&A projects, supporting corporate clients with research, financing advice, and capital strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth research on target companies and relevant industries to inform transaction decisions.
• Prepare and present business proposals and financial analyses to corporate clients.
• Develop, structure, and manage M&A transactions from origination through execution.
• Coordinate communication with corporate clients, financial institutions, and other project stakeholders.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth.
• Contribute to business development activities and network building.

Required profile

• 4–5+ years of experience in M&A advisory, investment banking, or related transaction due‑diligence roles.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, capital markets, and transaction structuring.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical abilities.
• Proven strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
