Senior/Staff Design Engineer (Cloud)

About the role

Monolithic Power Systems is seeking a senior engineer to design analog and mixed‑signal integrated circuits for power‑management products targeting telecom, computing, and automotive applications. The role involves full‑cycle development from transistor‑level design to system release.

Key responsibilities

• Design analog and mixed‑signal ICs using BiCMOS/DMOS technologies for products such as analog controllers, HV/LV buck converters, and e‑Fuse.
• Perform circuit synthesis, simulation, and layout supervision, and create behavior models with SIMPLIS.
• Participate in the entire product development lifecycle, from definition through release, and support ATE development with Design‑For‑Test methods.

Required profile

• PhD or MSEE with at least 3 years of analog circuit design experience.
• Experience in power‑management design (buck/boost, high‑performance LDO, battery charger, multi‑phase controller, LED driver, AC‑DC converters) is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Analog and mixed‑signal IC design.

• Experience with ADC (SAR, delta‑sigma), DAC, AFE, amplifiers, and op‑amps.
