Senior/Staff Design Engineer – DCDC

About the role

Monolithic Power Systems is seeking an experienced engineer to design and develop DC-DC power management ICs for a range of applications, including storage, client, and enterprise solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design mixed‑signal power management ICs, from transistor level to system level, including circuit synthesis, simulation, and layout supervision.
• Participate in the full product development cycle, from definition through release.
• Develop behavior models using SIMPLIS and support ATE development with Design‑For‑Test methods.

Required profile

• PhD or MSEE with at least 3 years of analog circuit design experience.
• Experience in analog/power‑management design such as buck, boost, buck‑boost, high‑performance LDO, switching battery charger, Vcore multi‑phase controller, LED driver, or AC‑DC converters.
• High‑voltage design experience is a plus.
• Experience in analog and mixed‑signal IC design (ADC, DAC, AFE, amplifiers, op‑amps) is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
