Market Research Intern

About the role

We are looking for Market Research Interns to join a cohort of several interns supporting client-facing research teams. Over a 3 to 12-month period, interns gain experience in the consultative market research and insights industry, covering project management, qualitative and quantitative research, AI capabilities and delivering impactful outputs. The role is based in Taipei.

Key responsibilities

• Project management: assist in planning, setting up and managing online research projects, collaborate with the Project Support Team, and develop enough understanding of the research process to manage a simple project by the end of the internship.
• Activity design: attend design meetings and brainstorming sessions and learn to contribute effectively.
• Fieldwork: support online text-based moderation of discussions or diaries, learn survey management tools and update colleagues on progress and challenges.
• Analysis and reporting (main focus): improve analysis skills, support drafting conclusions and recommendations, build PowerPoint report deliverables, and use external sources such as trends reports and industry news to add context.
• Presenting: present internally at team meetings, and over time attend client presentations and debriefs, answering questions with support from senior colleagues.
• Account management: support senior consultants with project-related tasks and communications, gaining exposure to clients and account management.
• Commercial management: become aware of the team's commercial objectives, targets, project budgeting and the fundamentals of a successful project.

Required profile

• Fundamental knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with upskilling across them as a key focus of the internship.
• Hardworking, reliable and a team player open to collaboration across teams or independent work.
• A keen interest in consumer psychology, human behaviour or marketing is a plus.
• Strong applications are welcome from a range of courses; the internship is most relevant for those pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Marketing or Market Research.
