Supply Chain Excellence Chapter Lead

About the role

Roche is seeking a Supply Chain Excellence Chapter Lead to own end‑to‑end supply chain operations for its diagnostic solutions. The role combines operational leadership, 4PL partnership management, regulatory compliance, and a dedicated business‑partnering focus to accelerate commercial sales.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full supply chain process – demand planning, inventory, procurement, distribution and order management – to ensure timely patient access.
• Manage 4PL partnerships and guarantee compliance with dangerous‑goods transport and export control regulations.
• Act as the single point of contact for Commercial teams (20% of time), removing cross‑functional bottlenecks and accelerating deal closures.
• Apply T‑shaped interdisciplinary skills to coordinate Finance, Supply Chain and Procurement silos and deliver ready‑to‑execute solutions.
• Design and execute supply‑chain strategies aligned with Roche’s diagnostic mission.
• Own the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, driving forecast accuracy and alignment with commercial targets.
• Drive continuous improvement using data‑driven insights and Lean principles, identifying cost‑saving and speed‑to‑market opportunities.
• Develop, maintain and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for supply‑chain processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading complex supply‑chain operations in a regulated environment.
• Strong ability to act as a single point of contact, resolve cross‑functional issues and support commercial growth.
• Demonstrated expertise in S&OP, 4PL management, transport safety and export control compliance.
• Excellent interdisciplinary (T‑shaped) capabilities to integrate finance, procurement and logistics functions.
• Leadership mindset with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
