Senior Data Analyst

About the role

Data Analysts on Coupang's Taiwan Logistics Analytics team are responsible for improving the end‑to‑end customer delivery journey. The role involves building and maintaining data infrastructure, ensuring data quality, and delivering actionable insights that drive operational improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Define and monitor KPIs for delivery network, courier operations and delivery status, and analyze root causes of operational issues.
• Evaluate the impact of new initiatives such as route optimization through pre‑ and post‑launch analysis and simulation frameworks.
• Design, build and maintain data pipelines (Airflow DAGs) and data mart tables (Hive/Presto) supporting delivery‑domain analytics.
• Develop and manage dashboards and reports for leadership, communicating findings clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Operations teams to translate business questions into analytical solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience analyzing large‑scale datasets using SQL (Presto/Hive).
• Experience developing ETL processes and orchestrating pipelines with Airflow.
• Proven ability to build dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI or Zeppelin.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for data quality and validation issues.
• Effective cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, product and operations teams.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting analytical findings.
• Business proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and intermediate English.
