Strategic Account Manager

About the role

Velocity Electronics, part of Jabil, is looking for a Strategic Account Manager in Taiwan. The role partners with a portfolio of key customer accounts to drive sustainable, long-term growth and deliver strong business outcomes. The ideal candidate is driven, takes ownership of their own success, believes in performance rewards and exceeds sales goals.

Key responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain strategic customer relationships and sell to a portfolio of key accounts
• Assist in implementing global sales and purchasing strategies
• Build a deep understanding of the structure, culture and needs of key customers
• Manage and facilitate own individual training, including sales, sourcing and throughput
• Enter customer requirements accurately into Velocity's ERP system and record all sales data, contracts, quotations and customer interactions, annotating every customer touch
• Deliver on monthly and quarterly gross profit sales goals
• Represent Velocity's culture, values and value proposition and provide immediate solutions to customer needs
• Create and present periodic reports on customer interactions and sales/gross profit totals

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree preferred; diploma holders with relevant experience will also be considered
• Minimum 2+ years of sales experience in the electronics components industry
• Results-driven, ambitious, self-motivated and detail-oriented, with strong communication and organisational skills
• Able to build strong customer relationships and perform well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
