Smart Contract Security Engineer – Security Audits

About the role

Binance is seeking a Smart Contract Security Engineer to lead security audits and vulnerability research across its blockchain ecosystem. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to protect smart contracts, blockchains, and on‑chain assets from emerging threats.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze newly disclosed smart‑contract vulnerabilities and document root causes for future detection.
• Perform comprehensive security audits of smart contracts and blockchain protocols, delivering high‑quality audit reports.
• Develop and maintain automated scanning and monitoring tools for on‑chain assets.
• Use scanning tools to identify vulnerabilities in live contracts and issue timely risk warnings.
• Conduct post‑mortem analyses of hacking incidents, tracing fund flows and attack vectors.
• Proactively monitor on‑chain risk trends, model emerging attack vectors, and assess fraud or phishing threats.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of EVM‑compatible blockchains, layer‑2 solutions, and DeFi design patterns.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or holding a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in smart‑contract programming languages, especially Solidity.
• Solid understanding of common smart‑contract security vulnerabilities and blockchain fundamentals.
• Experience reading blockchain explorers and recognizing typical smart‑contract attack vectors and scams.
• Familiarity with smart‑contract development testing, transaction analysis, and related tooling.
• Competence with VSCode, Git, and version‑control workflows.
• Strong programming skills in Python or another object‑oriented language.
• Fundamental knowledge of code analysis and debugging techniques.
