Senior Special Warehouse and Import

About the role

Baxter is hiring a Senior Special Warehouse and Import professional in Taipei. The role covers stock control, import and customs clearance, vendor and logistics coordination, and reporting, working closely with 3PL and 4PL partners.

Key responsibilities

• Stock counts (physical count, reconciliation and inventory adjustments) together with 3PL, and handling import damage, exceptional cases and goods write-offs
• Work with QA on damaged goods, vendor certification, product returns, goods on hold and recalls (for 4PL business)
• Manage vendors (forwarders, customs brokers, inland trucking), including monthly payment settlements
• Coordinate with business counterparts to improve operational synergy
• Budget and monitor annually the import freight and local logistics costs, reviewed bi-monthly
• Handle customs clearance, including the LC process with specific accounts
• Supervise receiving, storage and internal/external transport of batch-related and other materials
• Generate monthly reports such as billing, vendor KPI, internal KPI and freight cost reports
• Manage customer orders and support resolution of supply issues with stakeholders
• Plan shipments and coordinate transport between suppliers and the warehouse using shipping documents

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required
• More than 8 to 10 years of planning or logistics experience in SCM
• Strong self-leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Fluent English, spoken and written

Required skills

• Knowledge of SCM cost and logistics functions (import process, international trade, warehouse, distribution)
• Strategic analytical skills and good decision-making for troubleshooting
