Senior Demand Planner

About the role

Baxter is hiring a Senior Demand Planner in Taipei. The role covers all forecasting activities: creating an accurate demand forecast that reflects current market information so the supply chain can plan how to meet customer demand. The planner builds and maintains forecast models, refines them continuously, and gathers and analyzes data for new product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in the biweekly China Mainland and Taiwan funnel review and order tracker updates, and the monthly pre-S&OP review
• Monitor key performance indicators such as forecast accuracy and bias, and track forecast versus actual orders
• Propose forecast adjustments, get GM / BU Head sign-off on the monthly rolling forecast, and submit it in Rapid Response on time, including mid-month changes
• Analyze historical sales trends, demand drivers and forecast errors, and work with the commercial team to reduce errors and reconcile variances
• Update forecasts with supply constraints and collaborate with marketing and sales on new and changed products
• Work with Commercial, Finance and Supply Chain partners, and feed demand volumes into the Supply Planning organization (Purchasing-Sales-Inventory planning)
• Improve business processes, develop supporting tools, and perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
• Minimum 5-7+ years in supply chain planning, including identifying process improvements and training/coaching colleagues
• APICS certification preferred
• Strong mathematical and statistical ability, with hands-on experience in modeling, forecasting, analysis and simulation tools
• Team-based experience and knowledge of Rapid Response and Tableau (nice to have)
