Senior Employee Relations Partner – China and Taiwan Scope

About the role

As a senior member of the Employee Relations Center of Excellence, you will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, HR Business Partners and Global Employment Law on complex employee relations matters across China and Taiwan. You will independently lead investigations, manage performance and conduct cases, and mitigate employee risk while ensuring compliance with local laws and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end employee relations investigations, from intake through fact‑finding, interviews, evidence analysis, findings, recommendations and case closure.
• Handle complex matters such as harassment, discrimination, retaliation, misconduct, conflicts of interest and ethics concerns.
• Partner with Global Employment Law, Ethics & Compliance, Security and HR stakeholders on high‑risk or escalated cases.
• Advise managers on performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions and involuntary separations, ensuring consistent and legally compliant application of policies.
• Provide risk assessments and recommendations to senior leaders, balancing legal, reputational and operational considerations.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Workplace Investigations or Employment Law.
• Proven ability to conduct independent, complex investigations and support performance management and disciplinary actions.
• Strong knowledge of labor and employment laws in Taiwan and China, and experience working in a multinational, matrixed environment.
• Professional level English communication and business writing skills.
