Process Quality Engineer – QCM/QMS

About the role

As a QE QMS Engineer you will help drive quality excellence across Micron’s manufacturing operations. This position offers new graduates the chance to develop expertise in Quality Management Systems, customer quality support, audit coordination, and continuous improvement while working with global and site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support the deployment and maintenance of Micron’s Quality Management System (QMS) programs and standards, ensuring processes remain compliant and effective.
• Assist in quality improvement initiatives to enhance process effectiveness, drive continuous improvement, and maintain compliance with corporate requirements.
• Participate in planning and coordination of customer and certification audits, preparing materials, tracking action items, and following up on corrective actions.
• Provide quality‑related information and documentation for customer audits and visits, coordinating with cross‑functional teams and facilitating communication between site teams and customers.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and support teams to achieve quality objectives, engage in problem‑solving activities, and build strong partnerships across local and global sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Basic understanding of quality systems, manufacturing processes, and process improvement concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English for effective communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and build strong relationships.
