Portfolio Analytics Lead

About the role

The Portfolio Analytics Lead is an Individual Contributor in the Product Development Global Clinical Operations (PDG) Analytics & Portfolio Optimization (APO) team. The role combines forecasting, data analysis, advanced analytics and product management to provide strategic operational insights for Roche/Genentech.

Key responsibilities

• Work with Clinical Operations communities, franchise leads and study teams to understand business needs and deliver integrated insights, trade‑off analyses and risk assessments for patient recruitment, country footprint and site selection.
• Design and deliver advanced quantitative analyses using large, complex datasets, including predictive modeling, machine learning and scalable prototypes.
• Create and manage forecasting tools, conduct uncertainty analyses and communicate the impact of trial design, site selection and competitor activity on recruitment forecasts.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert for advanced analytical methodologies, support portfolio health assessments and identify opportunities to accelerate study delivery.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech, consulting or related field with deep expertise in forecasting, data analytics or data science.
• Strong consultative mindset, ability to collaborate in a global matrix environment and communicate insights with storytelling.
• Self‑starter with entrepreneurial attitude, comfortable working with minimal supervision.
