Medical Enabler

About the role

Roche is seeking a Medical Enabler to lead medical affairs initiatives in Taiwan. The role focuses on placing patients and science at the centre of all activities, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring access to Roche’s products and clinical trials.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and cultivate strategic relationships with therapeutic‑area experts and healthcare influencers.
• Translate insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders to improve healthcare systems locally and globally.
• Lead strategic planning, considering patient needs, Taiwan‑specific factors, business goals, regulatory and market‑access requirements.
• Optimize clinical development across product lifecycles and generate medical evidence for practitioners, patients and payers.
• Initiate and implement innovative projects such as compassionate‑use programs, local access mechanisms or digital solutions.

Required profile

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent).
• Professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including drug development, clinical trial implementation and data analysis.
• Proven ability to work in a matrix organisation, engage internal and external stakeholders and influence at all levels.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Data analysis and statistics.
• Knowledge of ICH, GCP and local regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of therapeutic‑area science and drug discovery/commercialisation processes.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to use digital tools for scientific engagement.
