Mandarin Teacher for Young Learner (B1) – Taipei

About the role

Learnlight is seeking an experienced Mandarin Language Teacher to provide face‑to‑face instruction to a single young learner in Taipei. The role involves delivering a structured intermediate (B1.1) curriculum over 35 hours, beginning in September 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 90‑minute Mandarin lessons to a single young learner (B1.1 level) on Saturdays.
• Plan and adapt curriculum to meet the learner’s intermediate goals over 35 hours (24 sessions).
• Assess progress and provide feedback to the learner and parents.

Required profile

• C2 proficiency in Mandarin.
• At least 2 years of experience teaching Mandarin to children or young learners.
• Based within a commutable distance to Dexing Village, Taipei.

Required skills

• Knowledge of a second language (preferred).
• Teaching qualification (preferred).
• Familiarity with e‑learning platforms.
