Head of Finance (Multi‑industry)

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Finance to lead financial planning and analysis across multiple sectors, including fast‑moving consumer goods, health care and logistics. The role will own budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning while providing strategic financial insight to support commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts and long‑range planning processes.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support pricing, promotions and new product launches.
• Analyse revenue drivers, gross margins, trade spend and operating expenses.
• Provide variance analysis and actionable insights to senior management.
• Partner closely with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain teams to support commercial decision‑making.
• Monitor trade promotions, discounts and rebates to ensure ROI optimisation.
• Oversee cost structures, including logistics and inventory management.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and margin improvement.
• Evaluate promotion effectiveness, channel profitability and customer performance.
• Support go‑to‑market strategies with financial insights and scenario analysis.
• Challenge assumptions and drive data‑driven decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance leadership within FMCG, health care or logistics environments.
• Strong analytical ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, working closely with sales, marketing and supply‑chain functions.
• Ability to develop robust financial models and conduct detailed variance analysis.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on cost optimisation and margin improvement.
