Accounting Specialist

About the role

Coface is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support its finance and accounting operations in Taiwan. You will work closely with regional and global finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end accounts payable and receivable cycles, ensuring timely processing and compliance with internal controls.
• Perform bank, intercompany and tax reconciliations, aligning portal data with accounting books.
• Support post‑implementation reporting for IFRS 17, ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with local tax compliance (VAT, withholding tax) and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities.
• Oversee the E‑procurement process, including vendor onboarding, purchase order creation and invoice matching.
• Prepare documentation for regulatory filings and remittances under Taiwan’s financial regulations.
• Provide month‑end and year‑end closing support, including ledger reviews, accrual postings and financial statement preparation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Native‑level Mandarin and conversational English.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
• Experience with Concur and SAGE.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Familiarity with E‑procurement systems and processes.
