Financial Controller

About the role

Lead all financial activities in Taiwan, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy while partnering with business leaders to drive performance, optimise outcomes and support sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial accounting and reporting, guaranteeing compliance with local statutory and IFRS requirements.
• Manage core finance functions including credit, treasury, tax, company secretarial, capital structure and internal controls.
• Partner with shared‑service teams to supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable and collection activities.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning, delivering variance analysis and scenario planning.
• Collaborate with Business Controllers and commercial teams to enhance revenue, margin and working capital through actionable insights.
• Provide financial evaluation and decision support for key business initiatives and business case assessments.
• Lead projects aimed at continuous improvement of processes, controls and team effectiveness.
• Build and develop a high‑performing finance team, focusing on engagement, talent development and succession planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior finance roles with responsibility for end‑to‑end financial management.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to influence cross‑functional partners.
• Track record of implementing robust internal controls and driving process optimisation.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS and local statutory accounting standards.
• Expertise in credit, treasury, tax, capital structure and corporate secretarial functions.
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and scenario planning.
• Experience with financial reporting, internal controls and continuous improvement initiatives.
