Employee Relations Director

About the role

Coupang is expanding its operations in Taiwan and is looking for an Employee Relations Director to lead its employee relations function for the Rocket Fulfillment Center. The role sets the technical and performance bar for ER practices and compliance standards, designs company-wide ER strategies and manages complex, high-stakes ER issues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a multi-level, multi-functional ER organization with strategic influence across regions for the Rocket Fulfillment Center.
• Set the technical and performance bar for ER practices and compliance standards.
• Design and implement company-wide ER strategies, including risk governance and labor-management stability.
• Drive simplification and process improvement while managing complex, high-stakes ER issues.
• Establish contingency plans and lead proactive risk management to protect organizational integrity.
• Mentor senior leaders and develop successors for critical ER roles.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in HR, law or a related field.
• 12+ years of HR experience with extensive ER leadership exposure.
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership and shape ER strategy across multiple geographies.
• Exceptional judgment, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
