Director, Logistics

About the role

We are seeking a highly driven, strategic, and hands‑on Director of Logistics to own end‑to‑end logistics operations, strategy and financial performance. You will lead complex projects, optimise rider fleet management and drive digital transformation to support rapid business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead local logistics strategy, own the operational budget/P&L and execute high‑impact projects to improve unit economics and cost efficiencies.
• Scale and optimise the rider fleet system, ensuring steady supply, strong retention and a positive rider community.
• Digitalise and automate logistics workflows to enhance delivery setups, customer experience and daily rider operations.
• Own key operational KPIs, partner with regional teams and execute seamless product roll‑outs with minimal friction for riders.
• Build, mentor and empower a high‑performing logistics team to achieve operational goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, STEM or a related field.
• 5–15+ years of solid experience in operations management, logistics, supply‑chain or consulting within fast‑paced e‑commerce or tech‑startup environments.
• Proven track record of building, developing and leading high‑performing teams with strong cross‑functional stakeholder management.
• Highly analytical, data‑driven with strong structured problem‑solving ability.
• Strategic yet hands‑on, adaptable and comfortable challenging the status‑quo in a dynamic, high‑pressure environment.
