Customer Trainer – Da Vinci Surgical Systems

About the role

Intuitive, a pioneer in robotic-assisted surgery, is looking for a Customer Trainer in Taipei. Reporting to the Customer Training Manager, Taiwan, the trainer delivers Intuitive technology training and facilitates surgeon-led training for surgeons, first assistants and OR staff across specialties such as urology, gynecology, colorectal surgery, ENT, cardiac, thoracic and general surgery. The role also supports continuous improvement of training programs.

Key responsibilities

• Train surgical teams and care teams at designated training centers and remote centers on the Da Vinci system, its applications, OR efficiency, the Training Pathway process and training/coaching methods
• Support one or more marketing verticals by specialty, design agendas and obtain regulatory approval, and support surgeon educators and course participants
• Run surveys to measure program effectiveness and act as subject matter expert for internal projects, new product development, training materials and research initiatives
• Facilitate and support internal, external, marketing, society, VIP and exhibit hall events
• Collaborate with the Training team to improve existing programs and support troubleshooting and maintenance of the Da Vinci system at the training center
• Manage training center logistics, inventory and calendars, maintain capital equipment and support positive relationships between training center personnel and management

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Clinical or Health Sciences, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Communications or Education
• Preferred: professional training experience, experience training on complex topics or technology, clinical or operating room experience, medical-device experience, knowledge of adult learning principles
• Ability to travel up to 30%, flexibility with hours, and ability to work in a team
