Account Manager

About the role

Arrow Electronics is seeking an Account Manager to drive growth in critical markets, build strong customer relationships, and promote the company’s supply‑chain and lifecycle solutions. The role focuses on solution selling, demand creation, and ensuring customer satisfaction across the electronics industry.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers within the assigned sales territory.
• Plan and execute market strategies to establish a solid foundation for solution selling.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing contacts, addressing design opportunities and business challenges.
• Prepare and present internal quarterly business reviews (iQBR) and lead regular QBRs with major customers.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to specify, select, and resolve electronic board designs using Arrow‑franchised suppliers.
• Promote and sell value‑added services, including supply‑chain and full‑life‑cycle programs.
• Track sales activities using Salesforce.com and Oracle systems.

Required profile

• Typically a 4‑year degree with 2–4 years of related experience (or equivalent).
• Ability to work under general supervision and follow established procedures.
• Strong analytical skills for pricing programs and demand creation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce.com.
• Experience using Oracle sales‑tracking systems.
• Knowledge of pricing models and programs within the electronics industry.
