Logistics Specialist, Associate

About the role

The Logistics Specialist, Associate supports integrated logistics strategies for an assigned business unit, handling supply chain coordination, trade documentation, and daily shipment issues. The role works closely with internal customers, freight carriers, and service vendors to ensure smooth domestic and international shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare customs clearance documents, work with brokers for import filing, and verify HS codes and duty rates.
• Obtain regulatory approvals from STPI, SEZ, and EPC for imports, exports, inter‑unit transfers, debonding and destruction.
• Select freight carriers based on routing protocols, monitor carrier invoices for rate compliance, and provide performance feedback.
• File monthly, quarterly and yearly returns with required authorities and update the Logistics Compliance Tool (LCT).
• Collaborate with internal teams and project leads to communicate status, resolve shipment‑related obstacles, and meet deadlines.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in customs clearance, shipment scheduling, planning, or related logistics functions.

Required skills

• Customs clearance documentation and import filing.
• HS code verification and duty rate calculation.
• Use of Logistics Compliance Tool (LCT) and handling of regulatory approvals.
• Freight carrier selection and invoice monitoring.
