Supervisor, Transport Management

About the role

The Supervisor, Transport Management will act as the global point of contact for G‑EDM transport processes, driving strategic initiatives, process improvements and digitalization across all transportation modes. You will collaborate with supply‑chain teams worldwide to define end‑state solutions, lead workshops, and ensure effective stakeholder communication.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the development and implementation of G‑EDM's business strategy, process improvements and digitalization initiatives.
• Lead and participate in the development, optimization and automation of transport management processes across all modes.
• Guide supply‑chain teams across countries to define NGBA end‑state solutions and finalize process models.
• Conduct regular analysis of existing processes and the IT environment, aligning with best practices.
• Identify global and country‑specific features, enable NGBA workshops, and drive role‑based training for users.
• Provide updates to key stakeholders on NGBA implementation progress and represent G‑EDM in expert communities and forums.
• Advocate for process improvements and digitalization to relevant stakeholders, establishing expert networks to enhance business competitiveness.
• Build and nurture an internal G‑EDM Logistics & Transport Management expert community.
