Vice President - Risk Management Team

About the role

Marsh Risk is looking for a Vice President to lead its Risk Management team in Taipei. The role manages a portfolio of businesses under a key conglomerate account, acting as the primary point of contact for the clients and delivering insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of businesses under a key conglomerate account, placing insurance programs and serving as the main client contact
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction on servicing and annual renewals
• Understand clients' operations, risk profiles and evolving needs, and apply the Marsh client servicing model
• Work with Marsh placement, specialty, claims and risk consulting teams on renewals and solutions
• Help clients review contracts with third parties (projects, tenancy, dealership agreements) and run occasional training workshops
• Prepare and present proposals, reports and recommendations to clients
• Own account profitability, budget and receivables
• Implement the Marsh Professional Standard and guidelines for assigned accounts

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Valid broker license
• At least 10 years of experience in the broking industry with strong product knowledge
• Fluent English and Chinese
• Proactive, self-driven, solution-focused and detail-oriented, with strong client relationship management skills

Required skills

• Proficiency in PC applications, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint (critical)
