Vice President - Risk Management Team

About the role

Marsh Risk is looking for a Vice President to join its Risk Management team, based in Taipei. The role manages a portfolio of businesses under a key conglomerate account and acts as the primary point of contact for the clients, delivering professional and responsive service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of businesses under a key conglomerate account, including effective placement of insurance programs, and act as the main point of contact for the clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction with servicing and annual insurance renewal outcomes.
• Understand each client's business operations, risk profile and evolving needs, and apply the Marsh client servicing model to deliver insurance solutions.
• Work with Marsh placement, specialty, claims and risk consulting teams on insurance renewals and solutions.
• Help clients review contracts with third parties (e.g. project, tenancy and dealership agreements) and deliver training workshops from time to time.
• Prepare and present proposals, reports and recommendations to clients.
• Own the assigned account's profitability, budget and receivables.
• Implement the Marsh Professional Standard and guidelines for the assigned accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Valid broker license.
• At least 10 years of experience in the broking industry with strong product knowledge.
• Fluent English and Chinese.
• Proactive, self-driven, solution-focused and detail-oriented, with strong client relationship management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in PC applications, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint (critical).
