Financial Analyst - Management Reporting & MIS

About the role

Prudential is hiring a Financial Analyst in Taipei focused on management reporting and MIS. The role prepares and analyses management reports, producing dashboards and performance metrics for senior management review. It suits intermediate professionals who deliver consistent, quality results within a defined scope of work.

Key responsibilities

• Manage MIS and management reporting for assigned areas, including report production, dashboard maintenance, data validation and information delivery.
• Analyse reporting requirements, data quality issues, recurring exceptions and stakeholder feedback to identify improvements for senior review.
• Prepare MIS reports, performance dashboards, recurring management reports and ad-hoc outputs.
• Coordinate with Finance, Channel, Operations, IT and regional users to clarify specifications and resolve data issues.
• Maintain reporting tools, templates, data repositories, SOPs and procedures, and improve templates, validation routines and automation.
• Solve MIS reporting, data quality and process issues, and handle escalated non-standard issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in MIS reporting, management reporting, business analytics, data operations or related financial services roles.
• Experience managing MIS report production, dashboards, data validation, stakeholder requests, reporting tools and process documentation.
• Strong analytical, planning, organisational and communication skills, able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation, reporting and automation.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint.
• Bonus: experience with Power BI, SQL, Python or other reporting and analytics tools.
