Head of Product Innovation & Proposition

About the role

Prudential is looking for a Head of Product Innovation & Proposition in Taipei. The role leads the development of the company's product strategy and innovative product and proposition offerings, using market insight, customer understanding and pricing expertise to create differentiated, competitive insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and drive the roadmap for product strategy and identify innovative product opportunities with strong market potential.
• Use data analysis and market insights to build compelling product concepts and business logic.
• Conduct preliminary pricing for innovative products and build consensus with distribution channels and partners.
• Optimize product strategy continuously in response to market trends and competition.
• Work with distribution, marketing and cross-functional teams to secure buy-in for new propositions.
• Evaluate market size and opportunities with data analysis and turn them into attractive proposals.
• Lead the team in concept validation and preliminary pricing, and prepare presentations and analyses for senior management decisions.

Required profile

• Over 15 years of experience in life or health insurance product development and pricing, with a track record of launching competitive solutions.
• Strong strategic thinking, communication skills and ability to present to senior executives.
• Ability to work with ambiguity, develop hypotheses and propose solutions despite incomplete information.
• Fluency in Chinese and English; FSA / ASA or actuarial qualifications or advanced degrees are a plus.
