Senior Operational Planner

About the role

Renesas is looking for a Senior Operational Planner to lead and manage end‑to‑end operational planning activities across its semiconductor manufacturing network. The role ensures timely delivery, optimal production flow and efficient use of resources while coordinating with manufacturing, subcontractors, procurement and sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive demand and supply planning, capacity allocation and inventory/WIP management.
• Manage OSAT subcontractor performance, die loading, assembly and test activities.
• Prepare production orders, monitor WIP movement and resolve material shortages.
• Analyze capacity requirements, identify bottlenecks and propose actions to increase or reduce capacity.
• Maintain continuous OSAT loading according to daily/weekly run rates.
• Generate KPI reports and support system engineering specifications and testing.
• Resolve B2B errors, coordinate with IT and ensure accurate system functionality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in technical and commercial roles within the semiconductor or related electronics industry.
• Strong analytical abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
