Senior Manager, Pricing Operation

About the role

The Taiwan Pricing Operation team is looking for a Senior Manager, Pricing Operation. The role leads a team of junior PMs (optional) and operators, working closely with cross-functional teams such as Catalog, Product, In-stock and Merchandising to build, launch and scale initiatives that improve the Coupang pricing system and delight customers. It suits someone who is customer obsessed, motivated, has a bias for action and can think systemically.

Key responsibilities

• Create scalable, automated solutions for end-to-end management of new programs, partnering with internal teams, and develop SOPs for manual management where automation is not possible
• Manage the team, including full-time employees and dispatch workers
• Analyze issues deeply, propose data-backed solutions and share their impact
• Drive operational performance improvements and lead projects that expand the business and improve customer and partner experiences
• Communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, success metrics and outcomes clearly to project teams and stakeholders
• Work independently while influencing and managing project teams, sub-teams and subject matter experts to develop, test or implement new ideas and process improvements
• Ensure multiple projects on the program roadmap meet their timelines

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in program, project or process management or business operations, preferably in e-commerce
• At least 2 years of people management experience
• Comfortable in ambiguous environments, with strong attention to detail, process planning, analytical capability and business acumen
• Strategic thinker who can also get hands dirty on front-line execution

Required skills

• SQL building experience is a must
• English speaking and writing skills are a must
