Senior Dispute Analyst

About the role

A Senior Dispute Analyst is sought to join the Disputes Operations team, helping protect clients, cardholders and the business by driving fair, accurate and timely dispute resolutions across the payments ecosystem. The role works alongside experienced payments professionals, influencing processes, supporting complex decisions, mentoring colleagues and contributing to solutions that strengthen trust in every transaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex chargeback and arbitration cases to achieve successful dispute outcomes within critical industry timelines.
• Analyze transaction patterns to identify risks and improve the consistency of dispute resolution processes.
• Provide insights and recommendations that strengthen compliance, reduce financial exposure and support decision-making.
• Review complex case documentation to ensure regulatory and card network requirements are met.
• Share expertise, guide colleagues through complex scenarios and help raise team capability and service outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 2-3 years of relevant experience in dispute resolution, chargebacks, card payments operations and banking.
• Proven ability to analyze complex transaction activity, interpret findings and make accurate, compliant decisions.
• Strong knowledge of card network regulations and industry dispute processes.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain high accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus: experience handling disputes through the full association lifecycle including arbitration and final rulings; experience spotting operational trends and recommending process improvements; a track record of coaching, mentoring or leading team members.
