Purchase Specialist (II) – Industrial Procurement

About the role

The Indirect Procurement Specialist will lead sourcing initiatives for industrial equipment, machinery, technical services and consumables, ensuring cost‑effective, high‑quality, and compliant supply solutions that support manufacturing efficiency and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and select qualified suppliers for industrial equipment, machinery, technical services and consumables.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing and long‑term maintenance contracts, monitoring market trends.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and other internal teams to define technical specifications and support new equipment introductions.
• Address equipment performance issues and close technical gaps with suppliers.
• Maintain compliance with internal SOPs, work instructions and GMP‑related standards.
• Keep accurate supplier, equipment, contract and service data in ERP systems and generate sourcing performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of sourcing experience in industrial equipment, machinery, technical services or a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of measurement and inspection equipment, calibration services and OEM spare‑parts lifecycle management.
