Electrical Engineer – Devices

About the role

Snap Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support device development for its Specs advanced eyewear. You will work on electrical engineering execution, failure analysis, and validation of designs across contract manufacturers.

Key responsibilities

• Support electrical engineering execution across development builds onsite at contract manufacturers.
• Own challenging failure analysis, including hands‑on debugging, root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Test and validate designs and collaborate with firmware, software, thermal and RF teams.
• Define, design and review schematics and PCB layouts.

Required profile

• BS/BA in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of relevant electrical or hardware engineering experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% to China and the US.

Required skills

• Strong electrical engineering fundamentals and best‑practice knowledge.
• Familiarity with stack‑up definition.
• Experience with Cadence Allegro and OrCAD Capture.
• Proficiency with lab instrumentation and test‑station development.
