Public Relations / Corporate Communications Manager (English & Chinese)

About the role

Acer is looking for a bilingual Public Relations and Corporate Communications Manager to join its international communications team in Xizhi, New Taipei City. The role will craft compelling narratives for journalists, influencers and thought leaders, translating Acer’s strategy and vision across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Research, write, edit and distribute press releases to media outlets.
• Create and publish internal newsletters for Acer employees.
• Develop executive speeches, presentations, event invitations and other departmental content.
• Translate press releases and other materials between Chinese and English.
• Maintain and update Acer’s corporate websites and intranet.
• Organise press conferences, exhibitions and media interviews.
• Collaborate with product marketing, investor relations and key spokespeople to define messaging.
• Respond to enquiries from international media and coordinate with regional PR officers.
• Analyse international media coverage and maintain PR databases, media kits and contact lists.

Required profile

• Native‑level English proficiency with strong copywriting skills and fluency in Chinese (reading, writing and speaking).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in public relations or marketing, preferably in the IT/technology sector.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, communications, computer science or a related field.
• Ability to analyse data and market insights to identify news angles.
• Proactive, creative team player with excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
