Facility Gas & Chemical System Engineer (Regular/Mixed Shift)

About the role

Micron Technology, a global leader in memory and storage solutions, is hiring a Facility Gas & Chemical System Engineer in Tainan on a regular or mixed-shift basis. The engineer helps ensure the efficient operation of utility fluid supply systems and contributes to world-class plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage equipment supply capacity and maintenance, optimise efficiency and maintain high-quality utility services.
• Set maintenance standards, frequencies, items and procedures, carry out risk assessments and prepare contingency measures.
• Develop operation standards, monitoring systems, reporting procedures, inspection frequencies and abnormal execution procedures.
• Audit supply quality regularly and adjust parameters as needed.
• Support plant activities, expand the Tainan plant and share standard methodologies across plants.
• Develop plans for regulatory audits and handle on-site emergencies promptly.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent experience, preferably in science and engineering.
• Proven experience in contractor management and in operating facility system equipment.
• Experience hosting large meetings and encouraging collaboration.
• Ability to complete tasks independently with minimal mentorship and to work flexible hours as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office document systems.
• Analysis skills and ability to provide actionable planning recommendations.
• Strong communication skills.
• TOEIC score of 550 or above.
