Fab Equipment Maintenance Engineer – Photolithography

About the role

Micron Technology is seeking a Fab Equipment Maintenance Engineer to support photolithography tools in its Taiwan semiconductor fab. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing steppers, scanners, and coaters/developers to ensure high yield and production efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and preventive servicing of photolithography equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment failures to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with process and integration teams to improve tool performance and process stability.
• Analyze equipment data, identify trends, and implement improvements for throughput and yield.
• Support new tool installation, qualification, and hand‑over to production.

Required profile

• Experience working with semiconductor photolithography equipment in a fab environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication and teamwork with cross‑functional groups.
