Director, Server Production

About the role

Supermicro is seeking a Director of Server Production to lead daily manufacturing operations for AI GPU servers. The role focuses on optimizing output, quality, and cost while driving digital transformation on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee multi‑line production to meet aggressive AI server output targets.
• Implement Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for resource optimization.
• Lead initiatives to improve First Pass Yield and conduct root‑cause analysis of bottlenecks.
• Supervise high‑wattage burn‑in testing, liquid‑cooling leak testing, and other specialized AI server tests.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, waste reduction, and cost‑control measures.
• Ensure compliance with EHS standards for heavy rack handling and high‑voltage testing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years in high‑tech electronics manufacturing, with at least 5 years in senior leadership.
• Direct experience with AI server (L10/L11) and GPU‑based hardware production.
• Strong communication skills in English and the local language.
