Construction Manager – Site Coordination

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of construction activities on site. You will act as the central point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors, ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a master construction schedule and track progress against milestones.
• Conduct weekly site meetings with consultants, contractors, and agencies to review progress and resolve issues.
• Review and validate progress payments, ensuring subcontractor claims reflect actual work completed.
• Coordinate documentation across project management and construction teams using the JLL Atlas platform.
• Oversee day‑to‑day construction activities, managing budget, risk, schedule, design, safety, and quality requirements.
• Lead value‑engineering efforts to preserve design intent while optimizing costs.
• Ensure site quality control (QC) and health, safety, and environment (HSE) compliance.
• Collect defects, manage project close‑out, and produce regular progress reports.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in construction site management.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, civil engineering, MEP engineering, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Proven ability to prioritize deadlines and coordinate multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Project for scheduling.
• Competence with Microsoft Word for documentation.
