Transfer Pricing Tax Specialist (Taipei)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Transfer Pricing Tax Specialist to support both Taiwanese and foreign companies with investment structures, tax planning, and compliance related to overseas investments. The role involves providing tax consulting, preparing transfer pricing documentation, and assisting with cross‑border transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Taiwanese businesses with investment structures, tax, and process planning related to overseas investments.
• Assist foreign companies in applying for tax incentives, reducing withholding tax rates, and providing tax consultation for investments in Taiwan.
• Conduct tax health checks for foreign subsidiaries/branches in Taiwan, covering income tax, business tax, customs duties, and stamp duties.
• Provide tax consulting on investment structures and transaction processes for foreign investors in Taiwan.
• Analyze tax compliance and investment structures for cross‑border mergers and acquisitions.
• Prepare transfer pricing reports, master file submissions, country‑by‑country reports, and review tax risks.
• Support applications for advance pricing agreements and review profit allocation and tax risk.

Required profile

• A degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related business fields.
• Strong proficiency in Chinese and English communication and writing (TOEIC 750+ preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong system thinking, coordination, teamwork, and high self‑management.
• Detail‑oriented, patient, with excellent organizational skills.
• No prior experience required; relevant work experience is a plus.
