Commercial Finance Manager

About the role

The Commercial Finance Manager acts as a business partner for multiple channels, supporting sales and trade marketing with financial insight. The role focuses on pricing analysis, promotion simulations, expense management and sales return analysis to drive profitable decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and support channel managers for performance reviews and budgeting cycles.
• Control and forecast rebate spending, improving the rebate process through monthly reviews.
• Participate in pricing reviews, simulate financial impact of promotions and new customers, and provide advice.
• Contribute to Revenue Growth Management (RGM) projects, including PPA initiatives.
• Monitor A&P spending, conduct month‑end analyses and support resource allocation discussions.
• Support month‑end closing, analyse sales returns versus budget, forecast and prior year.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 4‑5 years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance or controlling.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to assess business strategies in financial terms and evaluate trade‑offs.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Familiarity with financial planning tools (e.g., BPC).
