Vice President, Client Service Executive – Asset Management (Taiwan)

About the role

J.P. Morgan Asset Management is looking for a Vice President to lead its Client Service team in Taiwan. The role serves as the senior point of contact for intermediary and institutional clients, handling complex servicing matters, regulatory change, and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the senior escalation point for Taiwan‑based intermediary and institutional clients, including banks, insurance companies, distributors and e‑platforms.
• Manage escalated enquiries, service issues, complaints and client‑impacting changes, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships by understanding client business priorities, operating models and strategic objectives.
• Partner with Client Advisors, Investment Specialists, Legal, Compliance, Operations and regional teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Support client onboarding and lifecycle servicing – documentation, KYC, account setup, cash‑flow coordination, fee schedules and investment guideline discussions.
• Lead local, regional and global initiatives related to client experience, regulatory change, operational efficiency, risk reduction and service transformation.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent with over 10 years of experience in financial services, asset management or related client‑service functions.
• Deep knowledge of Taiwan’s asset‑management industry, regulatory environment, products and servicing requirements.
• Proven experience in people and performance management, coaching, stakeholder management and change execution.
• Strong client‑service mindset, excellent communication and ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated project‑management skills, including handling timelines, dependencies, risks and multi‑stakeholder coordination.
• Risk‑and‑control orientation with ability to identify, assess and escalate issues in line with firm policies.
• Professional license – SITCA, Senior Brokerage or Trust License – is mandatory.
