Technical Program Manager – EPG Refurbishment

About the role

Applied Materials is the global leader in materials science and engineering solutions that underpin every new semiconductor chip and advanced display. The EPG Refurbish Technical Program Manager will lead equipment refurbishment projects for 200 mm and legacy platforms, ensuring quality, cost and delivery targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and coordinate refurbishment projects across cross‑functional teams.
• Manage schedules, lead core teardown meetings and align SOW/Delta BOM with manufacturing.
• Utilize the Product Structure Tree (PST) database and oversee core system audits and inventory consumption.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing, production control and field teams.
• Drive cost‑reduction initiatives and track project performance against budget and timeline.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of engineering experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably hardware‑related.
• Familiarity with 200 mm semiconductor equipment (MDP, FEP, Etch is a plus).
• Strong English communication skills for global collaboration.
• Experience with SAP (multi‑level BOM, Where‑Used queries, ECO research).
• Proven project‑management abilities and willingness to travel up to 25 % in APAC.
