Field Service Engineer – Tainan

About the role

Carry out installation, commissioning, planned maintenance, troubleshooting and field support for TSMC customers. Understand customer requests, report to the Field Service Team Leader and respond to out‑of‑hours calls to maintain a 2‑hour response time. Work both independently and as part of a team with a customer‑focused attitude.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain equipment at customer sites.
• Perform troubleshooting and provide on‑site technical support.
• Report issues and progress to the Field Service Team Leader.
• Respond to emergency calls within a 2‑hour window.
• Travel extensively within the designated area to serve customers.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of a relevant engineering discipline.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build customer relationships.
• Team player with a positive attitude under pressure.
• Quick learner and proactive in task execution.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings and schematics.
• Experience in electro‑mechanical assembly and fitting.
• Knowledge of PLC controls and electronics.
