Team Lead, Field Services

About the role

CSA Group is seeking a proactive Team Lead to manage the day‑to‑day delivery of field services for a dedicated group of Field Service Representatives. The role ensures timely certification activities, controls costs, and upholds the integrity of the CSA registered mark through factory inspections.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate daily operations and delivery of inspections for the assigned field service group.
• Audit inspection reports, witness on‑site inspections, and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
• Identify improvement actions and drive service‑delivery enhancements.
• Recruit, coach, and motivate a high‑performance team; conduct performance reviews and approve overtime, vacation, and expenses.
• Handle customer issues, provide technical assistance, and resolve scheduling or project‑completion concerns.
• Ensure staff are trained in work methods and comply with quality and safety procedures.
• Monitor work quality, address gaps in product knowledge or technical skills, and implement corrective actions for non‑conformances.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading field‑service or inspection teams.
• Strong knowledge of certification and inspection processes, especially CSA standards.
• Ability to develop staff through goal‑setting, mentoring, and continuous feedback.
• Excellent problem‑solving and customer‑relationship skills.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
