Systems Administrator

About the role

AMD is looking for a Systems Administrator to join its IT team in Hsinchu. You will provide day‑to‑day technical support for internal users, ensuring that manufacturing and logistics operations run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver daily end‑user technical and operational support, handling incidents and service requests.
• Track all work in ServiceNow and produce quarterly case‑closure metrics for the Taiwan site.
• Manage the IT helpdesk, maintain visitor logs, and create/up‑date end‑user documentation.
• Participate in global projects, local initiatives, and compliance activities such as ISO/IA/OHSAS/FA documentation.
• Own disaster‑recovery planning and execution, and mentor junior team members.
• Escalate and resolve issues from 1st and 2nd line support, ensuring SLA compliance.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑determination and root‑cause analysis skills for desktop hardware, software, and mobility devices.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with business units and third‑party vendors.
• Excellent communication skills for training, knowledge transfer, and stakeholder interaction.
