SVP and Head of Chief Technology Office

About the role

The Senior Vice President and Head of the Chief Technology Office will lead the Taiwan technology function, providing strategic and operational direction to ensure resilient, secure and compliant services. This role partners with regional and global stakeholders to drive innovation, governance and transformation across the bank’s technology landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Taiwan CTO Technology team, delivering services, products and change initiatives on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Govern the change and programme portfolio, ensuring prioritisation, reporting and alignment with target architecture and Group standards.
• Implement and monitor operational risk, controls, security and regulatory compliance for all locally owned applications and services.
• Collaborate with CTO teams in Asia, the Middle East and regional peers to deliver resilient infrastructure, cloud, end‑user computing, connectivity and service management.
• Drive technology transformation, including Agile and DevOps adoption, to achieve efficiency and cost‑saving targets.
• Oversee service performance, incident management, problem resolution and remediation.
• Manage financial planning, budgets and metrics to support governance and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven senior technology leadership experience with a strong ability to lead engineering and operations‑focused functions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, capable of advising senior executives in a matrix organisation.
• Sound judgement balancing business priorities, technology strategy, Group standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication skills to articulate complex topics clearly and concisely.
